Happy February, friend!
I have to say, I'm glad we seem to be past the COVID surge. Our clients are traveling safely and having a blast.
January was pretty low key for us. Mostly, we went birding and played beach volleyball, and I worked a LOT.
Here's a picture of a fun bird I found in Irvine Regional Park - it's a Varied Thrush.
We have clients cruising the Panama Canal right now, and several clients (about 14, friends really) heading to Hawaii soon. Some are cruising and several are flying. We also have several clients and friends flying to Mexico this month. And we couldn't be more excited for all of them. One thing is for sure, we are all ready to travel!
We're also working on several river and ocean cruises in Europe, ocean cruises to the Caribbean, an incredible cooking adventure in Italy, and a couple of amazing trips to Croatia -- including ours!
We have filled and closed out both group trips, Chile Birding Adventure next month, and Luxury Wine Cruise in Feb 2023! We do have a waitlist for this incredible cruise, so let us know if you know anyone that might like to join us and we can add them to the waitlist.

We're also in the beginning stages of designing a small group trip to Belize. Bob and I visited Belize on our Celebrity cruise last November and we're super excited to be working with the tour operator we met when we went just a couple of months ago. More details to come on this one soon.
I've been working on a project and decided to write a short blog about it and get feedback from the women in my life.
Bob and I used to lead a travel club in Long Beach, but we only connected with about a dozen people in the group. We made some nice friends, but it was a small handful of people considering we had over 525 members.
Late last year, I helped my BFF move her very successful group from Next Door to Meetup and it is a wonderfully successful group of women in Palm Springs area (Sunshine Sisters). I didn't do much really, just shared some tips on how to use Meetup, but she has forged some great friendships and does a LOT of fun activities every week. My new group will be a culmination of my learning from our travel group and from my BFF and the way she organizes and leads her very successful group.

Bob and I are planning our first Holland America Cruise to the Caribbean. We've heard the food and service are outstanding on this Pinnacle-class ship that launched in July 2021. We're excited to experience her for ourselves as our first Holland America cruise as we know reviews can be very subjective based on experience.
Use STEP when you travel. This is the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program and it's a free service that allows US citizens and nationals traveling abroad to enroll their trip with the nearest US Embassy or Consulate.
By enrolling, you will receive important information about your destination. This also helps the US Embassy contact you in an emergency, whether a natural disaster, civil unrest, or family emergency.
